Springkit groaned, and tried to sit up. He rubbed his head with a paw, wincing at the sore spots.. His eyes flew open. "Winterkit? Sorrowkit??" Where were his sisters?? He could see nothing in this pitch black darkness, a darkness that was darker than the night. Springkit shivered. This place reeked of evil... "Winterkit!! Sorrowkit!!" He called out again, his voice sounding frail and weak in the emptiness...

Crystalinestar glared at the kit who was obviously just waking up from being knocked out. By her. 'So....' she thought 'the others are called Winterkit and Sorrowkit.' Studying the Dayclan cats, she finaly decided that the white one must be Winterkit. "Be quiet!" she hissed at the dazed cat. She jumped took three trips to the top of the high-ledge, droping off a kit on top of it each time. Finaly, she leaped on top of it, and in a strong voice announced "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the High-ledge for a clan meeting."

Winterkit lifted her head slightly giving a small mew, S-Springkit? S-S-Sorrowkit? she asked, Daddy?

Seeing her clan gather beneath her, she said "I found these kits wandering in the Red Pines part of our territory." Taking time to give a stern look to the cats below her she said with a tone that matched her look "I expect every last one of you to welcome them to Crimson clan." With that she took all of the kits back down to the ground, one by one, not really remembering why she brought them up there in the first place. She peeked into the nursery, and dropped them at a queens feet. She had lost all her kits the night before, and had plenty of time to watch over the little runts. "Take care of these kits, please." she asked the queen, then walked out of there, searching for Skullblood.

Springkit meowed comfortingly to his sisters. He didn't want to be part of this creepy clan! He wailed to himself, but he didn't let his fear show, he had to be brave, for his sisters....."Be brave, Winterkit, Sorrowkit. We'll get out of here," he murmured. "Think, Dad wouldn't be scared. He think up away to get out of here.." Which was what he was currently trying to do....

But--I never heard of a Crimsonclan Winterkit whispered.

Sorrowkit responded to nothing. Her heart lept excitedly. Something about this clan . . . it seemed oddly familuar. But how? She glared at the queen she was assigned to. "Your not our mother!" She then raced out of the nursery.

Skullblood rolled his eyes. Joy. Kits. He shook his head, and stared at the flame pelted one. Spunky that one is. He shook his head, then somewhat narrowed his eyes at his leader. "Well? What do you want now?" His tone was dead sounding.

Sister wait! Winterkit wailed following after Sorrowkit her eyes in tears, You don't know what they shall do to us. Don't wander. she begged her little sister Winterkit was now acting like the youngest instead of second in line...

" I want you to control that kit!" She sad coldly, pointing towards Sorrowkit with her tail. "Unless thats too tough of a job for you?" she asked sourly, glancing at the rambunctious kit. ' This is only the beggining...' she thought joyfully.

*narrows eyes* "Why cant you do it? You are the one who brought them here" Skullblood shook his head. Without waiting for his leaders response, he followed after the kit lazily. He then was by her, picking her up by the scruff.

*hiss* "Hey! Lemme go!" Sorrowkit tried to wiggle her way out, but this cat was too strong. He even looked a lot different from the rest. Deep down, however, something stirred. She felt close to this cat, but couldnt tell why.

Winterkit gasped and then bit Skullbloods ankle, but it was only a kit bite. Not strong. Let sister go! she wailed.

" Because I have important, leader-like things to do." Crystalinestar shouted after the Crimsonclan deputy, watching while the Sorrowkit struggled in Skullblood's grasp. It would be an understatement to say she was amused. 'So now the big, bad deputy is a caring father....' the thought of what Skullblood would to her if she laughed was the only thing that kept her from doing so.

Skullblood glared down at the annoying white kit. He shook his paw, "shooing" her away. His eyes held murder down at her. Important? Ha! What ever!

Sorrowkit continued to try and escape, but it was no use. She was a kit. He was a warrior. "Its not fair!" she huffs

Crystalinestar just kept looking at the kit struggling against Skullblood, then finally, seh couldn't help it. She started laughing. She collapsed on the ground in a heap, laughing so hard she couldn't breath. She didn't know why it was so funny. It just was.
