Timerunner leapt upon a mouse, killing it with a quick bite to the neck. He almost jumped out of his skin as Rikka appeared from out of nowhere. Sheesh! Where'd Rika come from?? He smoothed down his ruffled fur with quick short strokes of his tongue. He flicked his tail in a greeting to Rikka, and smelt another cat not far behind. He narrowed his eyes, wondering who it was..

Suddenwind carefuly rolled in the nearest herbs when she saw another cat near Rikka. 'This will disquise my scent, as long as they don't get too close.' she thought. 'Hm. maybe I should double back and come out into the open when I get back here and hunt? Following her with another cat so near is risky.' 'Allright that sounds like a plan.' Suddenwind thought and with that quietly crept back to camp.

Rikka looked over at Timerunner, smiling weakly. "Oh! Hello, Timerunner!" She bowed her head in appology. "Im sorry i startled you. It was only an accident!" She smiled sheepishly at him. She then noticed he was narrowing his eyes behind her. She looked over her shoulder, trying to see what he saw.

As soon as she was out of hearing distance, sudden quickened her pace to a sprint. ' As soon as hey notice something enough to investigate, I'll be long gone.' Suddenwind thought proudly. She only stopped long enouh to hunt two mice, than headed back to camp.

Timerunner shrugged and focused on Rikka. He tilted his head, as if asking what she was doing, and smiled pleasantly. He then jerked his head, asking if he could join her...

Rikka, at first, didnt understand what he was trying to say. Then, realization hit her. "Oh! Um, sure?" She smiled weakly at Timerunner. She didnt mind if there was another cat with her. It helps that he doesnt talk! Makes it a lot easier to hide from questions.

Timerunner looked grateful and fell into step with her. He quietly (duhh) glanced around. He sighed, seeing an image of his beloved sister, frolicking around. He glanced away, the ache still with him these many moons. By all rights, she should have been a warrior. But she was slain.. (lol is it okay that I put she was slain by a drejclan warrior and not by green cough?)

OOC: um sure but Drejclan cats are already dead so im not so sure how that works! O . O;

Rikka could tell that something was on Timerunners mind. She felt concern for him, and it wasnt because she was a medicine cat. She turned to look at him. "Something wrong, Timerunner? You can tell me if youd like." She knew she said tell, but knew it was too late to take the words back.

Timerunner turned a sorrow filled gaze on Rikka. Tell? He no longer had power of speech, eve if he did want to tell her. He shook his head slowly. Melodykit....He sped up his pace a little...

Rikka sucked in a breath, trying to keep pace with Timerunner. She was very small for her age, so it was hard to keep up with him now. "I-im so-sorry if i affended you!" She didnt mean to cause him inner pain. She hung her head depressed. "I stick at this . . ."

Timerunner stopped, and shook his head, trying to signal 'not you." He didn't know if it would get across or not. He'd forgotten how small Rikka was. His head dipped in a sad apology....

Rikka looked up, smiling at Timerunner. "You dont have to apologize to me, Timerunner. Twas my fault." She laided her muzzle on his head, trying to let him know it was okay.

Timerunner shook his head. It wasn't your fault Melodykit died.. He thought. Trying to clear his head, he flicked his tail and gave a questioning look as if to ask, what she had come out here to do. He'd try to help..

Rikka laughs. "To honestly tell you the truth, i only came out to clear my head. Too many questions were bothering me about my past." *sighs* "So yea." She laughs at her own stupidity.
