Winterstripe strolled leisurely along, tail in tail with Cougarstrike. The two cats purred as they walked, enjoying each others company. The silver tom was so happy- if he hadn't been reborn, for what purpose only Fire knew, he wouldn't have met the love of his life, Cougarstrike. "It's such a beautiful day. You are so beautiful.. but that's not why I love you." He meowed smiling. "I love you for your personality, that amazing kindness of yours, your passion, your sense of humor, and... everything about you! There's no words that could describe you perfectly..."
Cougarstrike purred, rubbing cheeks with her mate. "And I love you, Winterstripe. Your bravery, your selflessness and your unwavering love... all these and more you are." The two cats came to the edge of a cliff, and sat down, the sunset blushing the now darkening azure sky a beautiful red gold color. Cougarstrike smiled. Now was the perfect time to tell her mate the wonderful news she had for him.
Summersun padded wearily across the forest floor. He hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, so consumed with worry was he for his apprentice Painpaw...
