Seekergaze stared down at the Clan of Spirit...He could sense a fight, but his primary concern was an apprentice... the one by the name of Painpaw to be exact. The poor apprentice knew nothing of the truth, the truth behind the real reason his mother died... He sighed. Painpaw's belief that he killed his mother and the torment of his former clanmates had caused all this... Seekergaze's eyes darkened. What kind of cats were they, that could saddle the young apprentice with such pain? Truly, his name had not been Painpaw from the start....
Frostpaw let out a cry of pain. Her brother... her beloved brother was walking a path she'd never thought he'd ever take... Mixpaw...She thought sadly, the scar on her throat burning...A tear trickled down her white fur...

Lifestream padded over in silence. She looked tired, but none knew why. Once near the others, she collapsed down, sighing happily. She then looked were Seekergaze was looking. "What is it, Seekergaze?" She sat up to get a better look.

The tom sighed. "Just watching.. and waiting. When will the right time be, Lifestream? When will I be permitted to go, and share the truth to Painpaw?" He looked down. "The poor apprentice has had so much pain and sorrow thrust upon him; little wonder he keeps trying to end his life..." He fell silent for a moment. "You alright Lifestream? You look exhausted..."
Frostpaw slumped wearily to the ground, her scar burning as memories of her brother assaulted her. Mixpaw....

Lifestream shrugs. "Ive been keeping an eye on Angelpaw." She looked over at Seekergaze, then touched noses with him. "Dont worry, the time will come soon. I know he must be suffering, but if you try now, he may just think your tricking him." She stared down at the black apprentice. "He hates us enough as it is, blaming us even, we want to make sure his heart softens a little before we send you down."
She then looked over at Frostpaw. "Are you alright, little one?" Her voice was soothing and luving sounding.

"As always, Lifestream, you show wisdom beyond your years.." He meowed ruefully. He got to his paws. "I need to stop watching for now.. He's under the capable care of Cougarstrike and Spiritclan... They'll make sure he's fine..." He followed Lifestream. "oh yes, how is Angelpaw doing?"
Frostpaw looked up, her cheeks wet with tears. "Wh-who are you?" she meowed, grief threatening to swallow her whole...

*smiles* "I do try my best. And shes doing good, though she still acts like a kit at sometimes. Deafstar is trying her hardest but . . . we'll see how well that works out."
She then smiled at Frostpaw. "Im Lifestream. This is Seekergaze." She noticed the wound on her neck. "Whats your name?"

Seekergaze smiled. "She's so cute when she pouts." He shook his head, grinning. "She'll do fine. I don't think you have to worry."
Frostpaw's eyes flitted from Lifestream's kind face, to Seekergaze's concerned one and back to Lifestream's. "Fr-Frostpaw." Self conciously, she covered her scar with a paw, sitting up straight and wiping her tears quickly away with a swipe of her white tail..

"Maybe too cute." She mutters
Lifestream them puts her full attention on Frostpaw. "Frostpaw? What a luvly name. You are in Starclan." She had already seen the scar on her neck, already quessing how she died. She smiled sweetly at the scared apprentice. "Its alright. You dont have to worry. We're here to protect you." She licked Frostpaws face soothingly.

Seekergaze grinned. Yes, Angelpaw could be too cute for her own good. Haha, he'd watched her one time, and nearly burst with laughter. He could see what Lifestream meant.
"I...I know.." Frostpaw whispered. "I just...just can't believe who killed me..He..." A lone tear ran down her face as Lifestream gently licked her. "I can't bear seeing him the way he is now!"

"Would you like to tell us about what happened? Sometimes its good to get it off you chest." Lifestream continued to lick her face soothingly. She knew what it felt like to die and then wake up in a weird area. Thats how she felt until someone explained, and she remembered what had happened. It felt good for her to tell someone. Mabye it will help Frostpaw as well? She hoped so.

Frostpaw stopped, and peered into the pool, her blue eyes shining as the pool began to swirl, a scene taking shape. It was her, and a tom, as kits. "Here.... my story begins here..." she meowed sadly..

Lifestream peered into the pool. She saw two kits playing. One looked like Frostpaw, and she didnt know the other one. "Who is the other one?"

Frostpaw sighed. "My brother...Mixpaw. He was my best friend- we play fought together, shared secrets with each other- we were inseperable. There's my mother," Another cat appeared, smiling down at her two kits, "And my father..." The white she cat sighed. "One day, after Mixpaw and I became apprentices, I was wandering alone through the forest- my mentor had given me the day off. I heard two cats talking, one of them my father, Smokefire's. Of course I listened- I adored my father. I hung onto his every word as a kit. What I heard shocked me- my father was seeing another she cat! I even heard him say, I love you, and the she cat reply the same... I fled back to camp... How could my father do this to my mother and us? I...I couldn't believe he would do that... But.. that's not the end.. I told Mixpaw. And... He didn't believe me. H-he.. The look on his face was terrible, Mixpaw always had a temper, but.. I'd never seen him like this before. He came at me, yowling that it wasn;t true. The next thing I know, I'm on the ground, blood everywhere, and my sight fading away...."
