She watched as the sun turned the sky golden, making the oaks around her turn golden as well. She stared through the trees at the sky, wondering if she could just run into the sky and get away from everything. She flattened her ears to her head as she thought about everything that had happened in her life, as she usually did, and sorrow blocked out all the beauty around her. Her blue eyes turned glassy, remembering things she didn't wish too. The last night she saw Rapidstrike, the night she told him she was pregnant, and finally the time she carried her tiny, helpless kit through the cold territories.
As Duskyrose's heart mourned silently, a rustling in the bushes awoke her from her trance. She quickly scented the air and growled. Fox She thought with another growl. The fox jumped out from the shadows and snapped his jaws in front of Duskyrose's face. She hissed and slashed his face, making him howl with pain. He rammed his head forward and knocked her back flank. She let out a hiss of pain and rolled so her back was facing the fox. He attempted to bite her tail, but she rolled away and stood up.

Firewing had his tail gently wrapped around Mudwater's tail leading him through the trees. He sighed, Firewing didn't mind helping the elder who was becoming slightly blind, it was just the days before where he kept saying that he wanted to see the forest. Firewing felt a tug when Mudwater stopped, he looked back Yes Mudwater? Mudwater breathed in heavily the scents of herbs and flowers, it felt so nice being back in Afterclan territory, and the flowers smelled beautiful. He remembered walking with his mate through the area...It is nothing. Just memories. Mudwater said in a cracked voice Ha. I always dreaded becoming an elder.Firewing sighed and continued on when Mudwater said he was ready to leave. This time Firewing stopped slightly having Mudwater bump into him Who is there? catching a scent.
ooc- This is my first time RPing Firewing =D

Her ears quickly pricked as the voices of two cats came forward. Firewing and Mudwater.. She thought. "Fox!" She yowled, not knowing if they would here. Just as she turned, the fox snapped at her again and she climbed up the nearest tree. SHe tensed, and then sprang, landing on the fox's back.

Firewing gently but firmly pushed Mudwater into a pile of frosty leaves, it was bad enough if an elder got killed by a fox. He dashed over to where Duckyrose and the fox were unsheathing his claws and scratched at the foxes face planning on doing a dive to clench onto the throat no matter how horrible the smell was..
ooc- I won't bother with Mudwater for now =D He is just irritated that Firewing pushed him, but doesn't want to make his effort a waste

((lol! Duckyrose! HAHAHA!!! U spelled her name wrong..ahaha!!))
She blinked as another cat aimed for the fox's throat. It thrashed about and knocked Duskyrose into a pile of leaves, and then rolled onto his back and got up again, attempting to get Firewing off. The grey she cat yowled with fury and launched herself at the reddish fox, claws extending midleap. Her claws sank deep into the fox's hide, and he lelped with pain.

Flashingeye was wandering the territory and hunting when he heard the cry of 'Fox!' Without hesitating, he dropped the mouse he'd been carrying and darted away in the direction of the voice. His paws, made fleet by the sound of danger, carried him swiftly towards the commotion. He broke through the bushes, to find Duskyrose and Firewing battling a fox, with Mudwater keeping carefully out of the way... Flashingeye judged the distances and sprang into action, careful not to hit his clanmates...
