Angelpaw blinked looking up watching the two toms run away. She silently giggled, He is so silly. She turned her gaze back to the water her paw swirling and a foggy fish below swirled beneath watching the paw hungirly. Angelpaw blinked not noticing the gaze still swirling. The fish nipped grabbing on but fell back into the water almost dragging Angelpaw with but let go of the paw, Ouch! Angelpaw whimpered, she put her muzzle close to the water, Now that hurt! she scolded the fish. The fish lept again, grabbing Angelpaw's scruff dragging her down with it letting go and grabbing at Angelpaw again pecking her trying to remove her pelt.

ooc- It's a catfish...if large enough, catfish tend to eat small children (this is a fact)

Painpaw grit his teeth, determined as well. He pressed forward, staying in front of Summersun. Death! I need to die!

Angelpaw shrieked only causing the water to create bubbles as the catfish tugged at her legs biting hardly. She felt a snap in her front right leg and felt her swimming start to faulter. After some time she finally got to the top gasping and tryed to let out a cry but only water drizzled out of her mouth. The catfish quickly circled and then landed on top of Angelpaw dragging her back under. It just looked like the fish was comming up for air other then trying to kill an apprentice.

Painpaws ears twitched. He looked over his shoulder to see Angelpaw drowning. "ANGELPAW!" He skidded to a hault, running back towards her. His heart was beating fast as he tried to get there in time.

Angelpaw tried to move her unsheathed paw but it didn't move fast due to the water. She frowned looking at the swirling catfish and winced when it grabbed her scruff. Angelpaw gasped but water flooded into her throat making her close her mouth again Air... she swallowed the water and almost felt like gagging. The fish swivled its eyes looking up at the foggy black cat and began to swim fastly down the stream My prey.. its small fish mind kept thinking, ocassionaly letting go of Angelpaw but grabbing onto her again. Angelpaw's eyes closed tightly at the coming current, it burned her eyes that she wanted to scratch at them.

Why does Deafstar have to be right. Angelpaw thought. Bu-But if I do go to Starclan I might remember me...and then Lif- her thoats were interrupted as the cat fish dropped her onto the rocky stream bed and grabbed her ear now dragging. Angelpaw shrieked a swirl of bubbles escaping her...

Summersun's golden eyes widened. Angelpaw!! Painpaw's cry ripped through the stunned silence as he took off. Fear rose in Summersun's heart, an panicky one. He sprinted after Painpaw again, but this time, he could not keep up... Painpaw's anxiety gave him swift paws..

Painpaw glared at the fish. "No!" He dived into the water, unsheathing his claws. He dug them deep into the flesh of the fish. He bit with all his might were the spine was. You cant have her! He wouldnt release, trying to break that spine!

Summersun hurried back as fast as he could.. He could see Painpaw wrestling with something... A very large something. He dove into the water after him, sending up sprays of droplets flying. It was a monstrous fish!

The catfish gave a inside snarl, but it sounded more like a gurgle. It whiped around not letting go of it's prey trying to get Painpaw's leg to, but since Painpaw was on it's back, it was impossible. It let go of Angelpaw swimming up and down (kinda like on a rodeo with a bull or a horse) trying to unhook the claws of the cat. Angelpaw's head hit a small (VERY SMALL) stone and she wince, Ouch. she said but it only came out with two bubbles. Her ear was bleading, and had a small chip out of it, and her front leg broken. She looked somewhat blindly towards Painpaw and the frantic angry cat fish and lifted a paw, Don't kill it.... Angelpaw thought, now just floating.

Painpaw bit harder into its spine, still trying to snap it. He didnt notice Angelpaw was trying to tell him to stop.

Summersun dove under and grasped Angelpaw's scruff. She needed to breathe! The fish had a death grip on the she cat, and Summersun hissed as it's thrashing nearly ripped Angelpaw from his grip...

ooc- Wolfy the catfish let go of angelpaw ^^;;; but you can have Summersun get Angelpaw out of the water!

Angelpaw gasped when pulled out of the water, her scruff was pulled on too much today. Her left eye completely closed she looked over at Summersun T-No...No Thankyou. Angelpaw shook her head, she looked back to the water, her back prickling in small pains, I don't want him to kill it... she whispered.

The catfish let out a roar of bubbles, some of its spine breaking as it faultered to swim trying to grab the new choice of prey, Must...kill... its small brain thought. It completly forgot the prey it once had. It needed this complicated prize now.

Painpaw hissed. You tried to hurt her! He continued to claw into the flesh, ripping it. He continued to bite hard into the spine. He could feel it slightly snapping in his jaws.

After making sure Angelpaw would be alright for the moment, he yowled to Painpaw. "Let it go! C'mon get out of there, okay?"
